Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is ideally located for exploring Waterford on foot, by car, or on a bike. The rooms are spacious and clean, though a bit dimly lit. The service was professional and friendly, with a slight miss on communication about additional fees. The dining experience could be more organized, especially with guests handling serving utensils. Overall, a great location for a culinary journey, but with a need for improved dining arrangements.
The hotel's rooms were a bit tired in appearance, making for uncomfortable nights due to noise and heat. Not quite up to the four-star or boutique standard as advertised. On the bright side, the location is lovely, within walking distance of the main attractions, though not the best for relaxation.
The hotel has slightly tired-looking rooms, more like a three-star standard with a bath and shower. While the bed and chairs were comfortable, the room was a bit warm for sleeping, and getting fresh air was challenging due to the window safety catch.
The hotel rooms are big and spacious. Despite a strong smell of cigarettes in the corridor upon arrival, the staff, especially Duty Manager Daryl, were fab and the location is perfect for the city. However, the noise from the street fighting and loading bay hindered a good night's sleep.
The hotel is ideally located right across the water from the Train station, making it easy to explore the city on foot. The rooms are large, clean, and comfortable, but the check-in experience was slightly delayed upon arrival. The service was top-notch with welcoming and friendly staff, though there was a lacking presence of a Supervising Manager in the restaurant. The dining options were good, but improvements could be made in certain areas. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and found the location perfect for exploring Waterford.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were quite clean and large, although the decor seemed a bit dated. They were still very comfy and spacious. Despite some noise from restoration work, the overall experience was pleasant. The service was exceptional, with friendly and hardworking staff catering to my needs. The location was central and convenient with plenty of attractions nearby. The dining experience was lovely, offering tasty options despite some disorganization. The hotel facilities were enjoyable and up to a good standard.
This year we decided to give this hotel another try, and it turned out to be a mixed experience. The rooms were lovely, spacious, and clean, offering a mix of comfort but lacking in prompt responses. The location was a bit noisy but convenient to the town center, with some noise disruptions from outside. The dining experience had some ups and downs, with good value but also some issues with adhering to guidelines. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.
The hotel rooms weren't what we expected, facing a ton of apartments with only a laneway gap between each building. They were different from what was advertised and very small. However, the rooms were lovely, cosy, and clean.
